Napoli a Bergamo. Uno sguardo sul '600 nella Collezione De Vito e in Citta'
Fondazione De Vito is pleased to announce the new exhibition to be held at Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, "Napoli a Bergamo. Uno sguardo sul '600 nella Collezione De Vito e in Citta'", curated by Elena Fumagalli with Nadia Bastogi.
The exhibition will unveil the extraordinary connection between Bergamo and Neapolitan painting of the XVII century. Luca Giordano (Napoli, 1634 - 1705) and his pupil Nicola Malinconico (Napoli, 1663 - 1726) played a significant role in this by participating in the decoration of Santa Maria Maggiore and Duomo.
The exhibition will display the important core of works from Fondazione De Vito, along with new canvases from Accademia Carrara and other works loaned by churches in the Bergamo area.

"Napoli a Bergamo" will be open from 23rd of April to 1st of September 2024 in Accademia Carrara, Bergamo.
